Luxury Yacht Day Charters in the Caribbean

A day charter is the Caribbean's perfect unit of time: morning departure, a bay all to yourselves by late morning, lunch on board or ashore, an afternoon of swimming and toys, and a golden cruise home. Four hours or eight — the shape of the day is yours.

On Blue Devil, published base rates are €16,500 (4-hour) and €19,950 (8-hour) for up to 13 guests with seven crew, local St. Martin fuel included. Other yachts are quoted individually with current rates.

Published prices are subject to change without notice. Availability, final pricing, fuel charges, gratuity, APA, taxes, itinerary and inclusions must be confirmed in writing before booking.

Day Charters — FAQ

How long is a yacht day charter?

The most popular formats are 4-hour and 8-hour charters — Blue Devil's published base rates are €16,500 for 4 hours and €19,950 for 8 hours. Other yachts offer similar half-day and full-day structures, quoted per vessel. Custom durations can often be arranged.

What can we fit into a 4-hour charter?

A half day suits a focused plan: a coastal cruise plus one anchor stop — for example a Saint Martin lagoon departure, a snorkel at Creole Rock and a swim off Grand Case, or a St. Barts harbor cruise with a Colombier swim. We advise what is realistic for your departure point.

What does a full 8-hour day look like?

A full day opens the map: island-hopping between Saint Martin and Anguilla's cays, a St. Barts loop with beach-club lunch, or a slow multi-stop day of snorkeling and swimming. The itinerary is built around your priorities and the conditions.

Are food and drinks included on day charters?

It depends on the yacht. Blue Devil's supplied day-charter information describes a continental breakfast, a surf-and-turf lunch and a full bar, alongside a separately listed 25% APA for food and beverages — a point we flag for owner confirmation in your quotation. Other yachts vary.

Can we customize the route?

Yes — day charters are private and customizable. Choose emphasis: swimming, snorkeling, sightseeing, beach clubs, or simply cruising. The captain sequences the stops around wind and sea conditions.

What time do day charters start?

Morning departures are typical for full days; half days run morning or afternoon, with afternoon slots timed to catch sunset when possible. Exact timing is set in your confirmation.

Can we do a day charter to another island?

Yes — Anguilla is an easy day from Saint Martin, and St. Barts is a classic full-day destination. Route-specific fuel beyond the local St. Martin area may apply and is quoted in writing.

What should we bring?

Swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a light layer for the breeze. Towels and snorkeling gear are commonly provided on crewed yachts — confirmed per vessel. Soft bags stow better than hard luggage.

Is a day charter suitable for children?

Very — calm-water stops like Pinel, Grand Cul-de-Sac and Little Bay suit families, and crews are used to young guests. Tell us ages so we recommend the right yacht and stops.

How do we confirm a day charter?

Send an inquiry with your date, group size and preferred island; we reply with yacht options and written pricing. The booking is confirmed when availability and terms are agreed in writing.
